I've Never Used Polls (Here's My First Attempt)

Why I'm Finally Giving Up Control of My Content

Hey Friends,

Just spent an hour staring at the poll feature on X. I haven't clicked "post" yet. Why? Because I'm nervous about what you'll actually want to know.

The Truth

I've been guessing what content you want. Writing what I think you need. But yesterday, while reading through comments, I realized – why not just ask you?

My First Poll Plan

Tomorrow, I'm going to post my very first poll. Here's what I'm thinking of asking:

  • What's your biggest struggle with personal branding?

  • What time of day do you usually read posts?

  • What content format helps you learn best?

The Scary Part

What if nobody votes? What if I ask the wrong questions? But then again... isn't that better than continuing to guess?

Today's Small Step

Just drafted my first poll question in Notes. Baby steps, right? If you're curious, I'll share how many votes it gets (even if it's zero!)

Tomorrow's Adventure

Going to hit "post" on that poll, sweaty palms and all. Want to help me pick which question to ask first?

Your Friend, Scott

P.S. Have you ever created a poll? Reply and tell me if I should be this nervous about it!
