I Was Too Scared to Try Something New (Here's What Happened)

The 10-Minute Experiment That Changed My Content Game

Hey Friends,

Confession time: 2 weeks ago, I had a BIG realization: I've been posting the exact same type of content. Same style, same format, same... boring.

Why? Because it was "safe."

But yesterday, something clicked.

My Tiny Experiment

This morning, instead of my usual "professional tips" post, I shared a real story about messing up a client pitch. No fancy formatting. No expert advice. Just raw honesty.

The response? More engagement than my last five "perfect" posts combined.

What I'm Learning

Growth doesn't come from doing things perfectly – it comes from trying something new and seeing what happens. (Still working on believing this myself!)

Today's Small Test

I'm challenging myself to try one new content format:

  • A video post instead of text

  • Speaking without a script

  • Sharing the messy middle of my journey

What Surprised Me

The post with my biggest typo got the most genuine responses. Maybe we're all tired of perfection?

Tomorrow's Adventure

I'll be testing different ways to share client stories (if they let me – fingers crossed!)

Your Friend, Scott

P.S. What's one small experiment you're willing to try this week? Reply and let's be brave together!
